Guest Service - Restaurant

About This Role

Serve guests courteously, quickly, and efficiently following Church's Operating Standards Manual, ensuring a positive customer experience and accurate cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with a sincere smile, making them feel welcome
• Take and fill customer orders within company mandated service time
• Suggestively upsell products as directed by management
• Collect money and deliver orders to customers
• Immediately attend to any customer service problem or complaint, notifying manager as needed
• Verify opening reading and bank, being accountable for all cash issued and received
• Count down drawer at end of shift to ensure accuracy
• Immediately notify Manager in Charge of any deletions, over-rings or equipment problems
• Ensure all product holding times are strictly observed
• Ensure products on the counter or in the display case are properly rotated and attractively displayed
• Keep display case interior and exterior clean at all times
• Stock the service area with sufficient supplies (napkins, cups, lids, etc.) and maintain adequate iced tea supply

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 6 months related experience
• Knowledge of all restaurant policies, practices and operational and human resources procedures
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to receive money and accurately count back change
• Practice adequate security measures in cash handling
• Basic computer skills
• Report to work timely for each scheduled shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
