The Growth Associate, SEO & AI Search will help Rippling take its organic search to the next level by optimizing for traditional search and evolving AI search. This role involves building creative content workflows, improving SEO rankings, and influencing content strategy to drive high-value rankings and accelerate the company's evolution in search.
Responsibilities
- Obsess over creating winning content that ranks at the top of SERPs and LLMs for high value keywords
- Build creative and effective content workflows with tools like AirOps for content creation, refresh, and ongoing improvements
- Think beyond content quality to improve SEO rankings via site layout, internal linking, backlinks, product pages, and more
- Help improve Rippling's keyword SEO / AI search optimization framework
- Influence content, content workflow and editing strategy, including technology and automations
- Build strong points of view on how to stay ahead of trends in AI search behavior, algorithmic shifts, and evolving SERP features to drive GEO strategy
- Get into the details to build your own workflows, edit content, and execute a winning strategy
- Collaborate across content, design, web, engineering, and product marketing teams
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in SEO or an analytical role, ideally in-house SaaS, with proven revenue impact
- Strong analytical skills and experience building automations/workflows
- Demonstrated experience ramping up on new skills and driving impact
- Strong writing and editing skills with intuition for high-quality SEO/GEO content
- Strategic and experimental content mindset with ability to prioritize and track results
- Impeccable project management, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Curiosity and familiarity with emerging AI platforms and their role in shaping discovery, with experience optimizing for AI search
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in SEO or another analytical role, ideally in-house in SaaS, with demonstrated direct impact driving revenue
Nice to Have
- Experience driving optimization for AI-first search engines
- Experience optimizing B2B SaaS keywords
- Own websites on the side that rank well and drive revenue
- Experience with SEO A/B testing
