Uber is seeking a visionary Group Product Manager to lead the Rider Experience and Growth team, defining the future of transportation by setting strategy and vision for the core rider journey. This role involves aligning with cross-functional partners and executive leaders, and leading a team to drive this vision forward daily.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve the rider experience and drive business outcomes.
- Distill the vision and strategy for the team and effectively communicate to cross-functional partners and executive leadership.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap of product initiatives, and implement data-driven experiments.
- Anticipate and remove obstacles that hinder team delivery on objectives.
- Build and lead a high performing product team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Management experience
- Familiarity with systems thinking, analytics, and experiment design
- Solid understanding of software development processes and concepts
- Direct experience building and managing a team of technical product managers
- Experience setting and delivering on a crafted strategy with accountability for outcomes
- Consumer product experience with a track record of delivering successful and innovative products
- Experience building and leading scaled businesses, including ownership and optimization of business performance metrics
- Experience leading geographically distributed cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar. Masters preferred.
- 8+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful and innovative consumer products.
