Global Manager, Senior Accountant CPA

About This Role

This role involves leading the global accounting function for a fast-growing international SaaS business, ensuring financial accuracy, scalability, and robust decision-making. The Global Accounting Manager will be the operational backbone of the accounting function, supporting monthly management and board reporting, while also helping to scale a world-class accounting function for the future.

Responsibilities

• Own the global month-end close end-to-end, delivering timely, accurate, and well-supported results across all legal entities
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and lead global consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
• Lead group revenue recognition policy and support accounting for complex or non-routine transactions
• Own tax accounting and support tax strategy by ensuring tax positions are appropriately recognised
• Deliver accurate financial statements and consolidated actuals, providing clear variance analysis and accounting insight
• Take ownership of annual financial audits across multiple regions, working closely with auditors and legal counsel
• Spot opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve accounting processes, helping to scale smarter through better systems and technology
• Monitor financial risks and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting
• CPA qualification
• Minimum 8 years’ accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
• Experience with modern ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proven audit leadership experience (Big 4)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
