General Estimator

About This Role

As a full-time General Estimator at SIXT, you will be crucial to Fleet Maintenance operations by ensuring accurate estimates and smooth processes. You'll review and verify vendor estimates, provide feedback to rental locations, and support management with vendor recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Fleet Maintenance team by reviewing and verifying all vendor estimates
• Manage the approval or rejection of estimates and revisions to ensure accuracy
• Liaise with rental locations to provide feedback and coaching for faster approvals
• Maintain audit records of all estimates from third-party vendors and repair shops
• Receive and analyze vendor performance, providing management with reviews and recommendations

Requirements

• Experience using Mitchell Cloud Estimating or similar software
• Vehicle salvage knowledge
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Skilled in computer navigation and Microsoft Office Applications
• High attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Exceptional decision-making abilities
• Adaptable, able to multitask, and consistently meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred) or an associate’s degree with relevant experience
• Experience using Mitchell Cloud Estimating or similar software, and vehicle salvage knowledge
