Full Time Eurythmy Teacher

About This Role

This role will provide eurythmy instruction primarily from early childhood through grade eight, supported by a pianist, and will develop and implement dynamic lesson plans within the Waldorf curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement dynamic and engaging eurythmy lesson plans that align with the Waldorf curriculum and the specific needs of each grade level, bringing academic content to life
• Oversee student snack, recess, and/or other periods as needed for FT equivalency
• Evaluate progress of students and prepare student reports
• Offer performances of student work and support seasonal festivals and class plays
• Participate in weekly faculty meetings and committee work
• Contribute to parent meetings and curricular presentations
• Collaborate with student support services and colleagues
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and fellow faculty
• Employ effective classroom management techniques that encourage student focus, respect, and participation

Requirements

• Artistic and Pedagogical Eurythmy Diploma
• Three or more years of successful teaching experience in a Waldorf setting
• Undergraduate degree
• Deep knowledge of and commitment to Waldorf education

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and an Artistic and Pedagogical Eurythmy Diploma
• 3+ years of successful teaching experience in a Waldorf setting
