FSQA Superintendent

About This Role

The FSQA Superintendent at Home Chef is responsible for overseeing the implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of Food Safety & Quality programs. This role ensures compliance with SQF management systems and drives food safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure enforcement and continuous improvement of Home Chef's Food Safety and Quality Systems
• Oversee development, implementation, and execution of cleaning and sanitation program, including Master Sanitation Schedule
• Lead the Management Review process, evaluating and improving FSQA programs
• Act as the SQF Practitioner, ensuring compliance with SQF standards and maintaining documentation for audits
• Assist in gathering, trending, and reporting metrics that effectively measure and communicate performance
• Respond and provide solutions to escalations in a 24/7 production environment
• Identify gaps in programs through internal audit or CAPA
• Provide thorough corrective actions to deviations and gaps, ensuring effective implementation
• Lead weekly supervisory meetings
• Perform as subject matter expert to new programs rollouts

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year program such as an Associate degree
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in quality assurance, food safety, food distribution, food manufacturing, supply chain, or related field
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining food safety and quality programs
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year program such as an Associate degree
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in quality assurance, food safety, food distribution, food manufacturing, supply chain, or related field

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with GFSI, SQF and USDA audits
