Food Service Worker

About This Role

As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for preparing, serving, selling, and stocking food and beverages for guests at the Cincinnati Airport. You will ensure courteous service, accurate order processing, and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system
• Receive payment from the customer and process change
• Responsible for set-up, regular maintenance, cleaning, and break-down of any machinery and equipment
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required
• Return all items used during your shift to the proper place, clean and organize all work and storage areas
• Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products to adhere to health standards

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• One year food service experience
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English
• Basic mathematical skills (cash register operation, making change)
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items
• Ability to operate a keyboard & point of sale system
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• One year experience working in food service environment is essential
