Food Service Worker

About This Role

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food and meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and contribute to daily reports. This role focuses on upholding high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to planned menus
• Prepare daily reports verifying transactions
• Ensure accurate and sanitary food storage
• Serve food according to meal schedules and department policies
• Utilize and care for kitchen equipment, especially knives
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of kitchen equipment
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage
• Communicate daily with the Manager to understand and prepare the menu
• Maintain clean and organized work and storage areas
• Follow established procedures for cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing

Requirements

• Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure

Qualifications

• Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
