Supervise the food and beverage operations within a hospital setting, ensuring excellence in culinary service for patients, visitors, and staff. This role contributes directly to patient recovery and well-being through high-quality nutrition and comforting food.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of food and beverage staff
- Produce weekly rotas for team members
- Order and manage supplies for the department
- Create a positive and energised working environment
- Deliver outstanding culinary service for patients, visitors, and staff
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene legislation and regulations
- Maintain high standards of health and safety
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of uniform policies and other relevant regulations
- Work on own initiative and solve problems creatively
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
Requirements
- Experience leading frontline teams in catering or hospitality
- Strong customer service focus and a can-do attitude
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and customers
- Clear understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety legislation
- Ability to work on own initiative and problem-solve
Qualifications
- Experience leading frontline teams within a similar catering or hospitality environment
