Manage the daily operations of a luxury hotel speakeasy and support other food and beverage outlets. Deliver outstanding guest service and achieve financial profitability for Waldorf Astoria Chicago.
Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and manage all outlets operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Implement and comply with all company policies and brand standards
- Oversee sales and marketing initiatives for designated outlets
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns to ensure satisfaction
- Recruit, hire, supervise, train, assess, and evaluate department heads (assist)
- Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance, and service/financial measurement
- Identify operational performance, productivity, and efficiency gaps and implement corrective measures
- Act as Restaurant General Manager in their absence
Requirements
- 2+ years of bar and beverage experience in an upscale / fine dining environment
- Energetic leader with a talent for driving high standards
- Passion for creating personalized experiences
- Champions a positive culture
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of bar and beverage experience in an upscale / fine dining environment
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a union environment
- Experience in a luxury hotel
