This is an in-the-field Part-Time Flooring Sales Specialist role, ideal for an individual who enjoys working directly with homeowners, builders, and commercial clients to present quotes and close sales.
Responsibilities
- Drive to in-home and commercial flooring consultations
- Measure homes and job sites accurately for various flooring types
- Guide customers through flooring options, product selection, and installation recommendations
- Provide expert flooring advice and support during consultations
- Build and present quotes at the appointment
- Collect deposits and assist with next steps
- Follow up with customers to ensure a smooth and positive project experience
- Complete final job walkthroughs with the customer after installation
Requirements
- Strong sales skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to prepare accurate product and installation quotes
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable using technology and sales software
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of flooring products, home improvement, or related industries
- Experience with Jobber
- Flooring or home improvement industry experience
