Floor Staff

About This Role

This role is responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional service by performing duties in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher, consistent with Regal's mission and policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive exceptional service
• Handle emergency situations when called upon
• Perform general cleaning duties
• Comply with company dress code
• Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately (Box Office/Concession)
• Upsell Premium Viewing Experience and promote Regal Crown Club program (Box Office/Concession)
• Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA rating system and company policy (Box Office/Usher)
• Prepare, operate, and clean all concession related equipment (Concession)
• Comply with all local, state and federal food safety laws (Concession)
• Tear tickets, collect stubs, and direct patrons to auditoriums (Usher)
• Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable (Usher)
• Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats (Usher)
• Conduct in theatre inspections for quality, theft, and safety (Usher)
• Clean auditoriums, restrooms, lobby area, and other theatre areas (Usher)
• Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Ability to handle and be responsible for accuracy of cash drawer
• Knowledge of MPAA rating system
• Ability to identify problems, gather relevant data and note possible causes of problems
• Ability to evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives and reach conclusions based on evidence
• Ability to perform under pressure and/or opposition
• Possess excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers and management
• Ability to establish goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve desired objectives

Qualifications

• Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required
