The Float Medical Assistant will work in outpatient clinic environments across multiple CenterWell Clinics in the Myrtle Beach area, performing clinical duties to support patient care and documenting information in electronic medical records. This role aims to provide proactive, preventive care to seniors.
Responsibilities
- Obtain vital signs
- Administer medication and vaccines
- Perform phlebotomy
- Perform diagnostic screening tests
- Sterilize and clean equipment and maintain examination rooms
- Document information into the electronic medical records system
Requirements
- Successful completion of MA school/training program
- Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (or 5+ years experience and approval from Provider)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certified
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- 2+ years MA experience
- Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
