Flex Shopper

About This Role

As a Flex Shopper at Whole Foods Market, you will support and prepare customer orders for delivery and/or pickup, working within the Customer Service & E-Commerce teams. This role involves efficiently and accurately shopping for a wide variety of goods throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Support and prepare customer orders for delivery and/or pickup
• Shop throughout the store for everyday goods including produce, meat, dairy, household items, prepared foods, specialty cheeses, wine, beer and more
• Fulfill online orders efficiently, accurately, and with a sense of urgency
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter

Requirements

• Comfort using handheld technology (mobile) device to fulfill orders
• Detail oriented, paying attention to product and order accuracy
• Eagerness to learn product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand/walk for at least 6 hours
• Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders
• Must be at least 18 years old

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent diploma

Nice to Have

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
