About This Role

As an In-Store Shopper, you will be a key member of the Customer Service & E-Commerce teams at Whole Foods Market, responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling online customer orders for delivery and/or pickup. This role is crucial for providing record-setting grocery delivery services and requires a passion for quality products and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill online customer orders efficiently, accurately, and with a sense of urgency, while shopping throughout the store for various goods.
• Maintain an organized and clutter-free staging area for customer orders.
• Use handheld technology (mobile) devices comfortably and effectively to fulfill orders.
• Learn product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, especially on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for at least 6 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Use tools and equipment such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and ladders as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand/walk for at least 6 hours.
• Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Comfort using handheld technology (mobile) device to fulfill orders.
• Detail-oriented with attention to product and order accuracy.
• Eagerness to learn product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent diploma
• Entry level position. No prior experience is explicitly required beyond basic qualifications.

Nice to Have

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
