System Transport is seeking an experienced CDL-A flatbed truck driver for regional routes in the western United States. This role involves transporting various goods and materials, operating modern flatbed trucks with advanced safety features.
Responsibilities
- Transport goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals
- Tarp about 70% of loads, requiring the ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- Maintain a safe driving record on the road
- Operate modern trucks equipped with lane departure, forward-collision warning, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication systems
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
Qualifications
- 4+ months of driving experience required; prefer 1-year truck driving experience
Nice to Have
- 1 year of truck driving experience
