Drive flatbed trucks for System Transport, transporting materials like glass, steel, and building materials to various regional destinations. This role offers competitive pay, benefits, and the opportunity to be home most weekends.
Responsibilities
- Transport various goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals
- Operate flatbed equipment on regional routes
- Perform tarping of loads (approximately 70% of loads)
- Maintain a safe driving record on the road
- Adhere to company policies including no pets and guest rider policy after 90 days of safe driving
Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
Qualifications
- 4+ months of driving experience required, prefer 1 year truck driving experience
Nice to Have
- 1-year truck driving experience
