System Transport is seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional routes in the western region, transporting materials like glass, steel, and building materials. This role offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and home time most weekends for a 34-hour reset.
Responsibilities
- Transport various goods and materials including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals
- Perform flatbed tarping duties for approximately 70% of loads
- Operate modern flatbed trucks equipped with safety technologies
- Maintain a safe driving record
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
Qualifications
- 4+ months of driving experience required; 1 year of truck driving experience preferred
Nice to Have
- 1-year truck driving experience
- Experience in the western region of America
