Drive a flatbed truck on regional routes in the western United States, transporting essential goods such as glass, steel, and building materials. This role offers competitive pay, benefits, and regular home time.
Responsibilities
- Transport important goods and materials including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals
- Adhere to regional routes, primarily in Division 290, with a base at the Kansas City, MO terminal
- Perform flatbed tarping for approximately 70% of loads
- Operate modern trucks equipped with lane departure, forward-collision warning systems, and hard brake monitoring
- Utilize an award-winning driver app for real-time updates, pay, and trip data
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
Qualifications
- 4+ months of CDL-A driving experience required, 1-year preferred
Nice to Have
- 1-year truck driving experience
