Drive flatbed trucks for regional routes, transporting various goods and materials, and ensuring safe and timely delivery. This role offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and regular home time, primarily off most weekends.
Responsibilities
- Transport goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals
- Operate flatbed trucks on regional routes
- Perform tarping of loads (approximately 70% of loads)
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Utilize modern trucks equipped with safety technologies
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
Qualifications
- 4+ months of driving experience required, 1-year truck driving experience preferred
Nice to Have
- 1-year truck driving experience
