System Transport is seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional and OTR routes, transporting essential goods and materials across the western United States. Drivers will be responsible for safe and timely delivery, contributing to the nation's infrastructure, and will benefit from competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Transport goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals
- Tarp approximately 70% of loads, requiring the ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- Adhere to a safe driving record and comply with all traffic laws and company policies
- Communicate effectively using in-cab satellite communication devices and the driver portal
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring equipment is 100% ready for the road
- Manage home time for a 34-hour reset on most weekends
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
Qualifications
- 4+ months of CDL-A driving experience required; 1 year truck driving experience preferred
Nice to Have
- 1 year of truck driving experience
