Fitness Trainer

About This Role

This role involves leading Planet Fitness group fitness programs, guiding members to achieve fitness goals, and instructing on equipment use. It also includes front desk duties and maintaining club cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on proper and safe equipment use
• Create creative and unique ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions
• Check members into the system
• Sign-up new members
• Take potential members on tours
• Change/update member account information
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Help maintain the neatness/cleanliness of the club
