Fire Protection Engineer

About This Role

Develop and maintain fire protection programs for industrial facilities, ensuring code compliance, system testing, and effective risk management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliant fire protection programs and metrics
• Conduct fire hazard analyses and risk assessments
• Review system designs, calculations, and vendor submittals
• Establish inspection, testing, and maintenance strategies
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and emergency response teams
• Provide training and technical guidance

Requirements

• Engineering degree
• Experience with industrial fire protection systems
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
• Strong risk assessment and technical writing skills
• Ability to collaborate across multi-discipline teams

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical preferred)
• Entry level with experience in industrial fire protection systems

Nice to Have

• PE license or relevant certifications
• Experience with special hazards or regulated facilities
