Financial Controller

About This Role

This role drives the financial health, integrity, and strategic scalability of Building Blocks Facades by overseeing all accounting and finance operations. It ensures accuracy, compliance, and performance insight across the organization, acting as a strategic business partner to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to align financial strategy with company objectives
• Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic initiatives
• Develop scalable systems for budgeting, cost control, and performance monitoring
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reports
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Maintain a robust internal control framework to safeguard assets and mitigate risk
• Streamline financial processes to enhance speed and data accuracy
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash management operations
• Support project-based accounting for large-scale façade contracts and installations
• Ensure timely filings, audits, and adherence to statutory obligations

Requirements

• 8+ years in accounting or financial management roles
• 3+ years in leadership
• Proven success managing financial operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong command of GAAP, cost accounting, and multi-entity consolidations
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
• High attention to detail with a bias for action and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 8+ years in accounting or financial management roles, including 3+ years in leadership
