As a Field Service Technician at Vivint, you will install and service smart home technology, provide on-site consultative sales for upgrades, and educate customers on their new systems. This role combines technical expertise with sales opportunities to provide customers with peace of mind.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems
- Evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site
- Train homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families
- Benefit from consistent coaching and leadership training to advance within the organization
- Conduct a safety analysis of every home to ensure a safe workplace for the technician and customers
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Ability to successfully pass post-offer background investigation and licensing requirements
Nice to Have
- Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales
- Customer-first attitude and ability to build rapport
- Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar
