About This Role

This role coordinates with the Family Home Development team to ensure regulatory compliance for applicant foster/adoptive families, manages the home study process, and conducts audits to facilitate certification.

Responsibilities

  • Review and oversee all necessary paperwork and processing of foster/adoptive families up to the certification process
  • Utilize the Clinical Review Process to make informed decisions on a daily basis
  • Support the applicant certification process by creating and maintaining Family Home Development practice tools
  • Coordinate the entire home study process following applicant families’ completion of documentation compliance and required training
  • Conduct the final audit of applicant families for clinical concerns and compliance with standards, COA, contracts, and internal practices/policies
  • Inform supervisor and appropriate team members of applicant families ready for certification
  • Report and monitor applicant foster/adopt parent file deficiencies to the Senior FHD Coordinator and FHD team
  • Report pre-licensure compliance concerns to Senior FHD Coordinator and FHD Supervisor
  • Ensure compliance with initial foster/adopt licensure requirements
  • Attend required agency, Foster Care department, and other meetings and trainings
  • Participate in the maintenance of applicant foster/adoptive family files
  • Review and onboard home study contractors
  • Share/transmit the mission and vision of Arrow Child & Family Ministries to staff, clients, and families served
  • Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or a related field OR 2 years of work experience in a child welfare or social services field
  • Ability to use sound judgement regarding regulatory compliance
  • Advanced knowledge of Family Home Development processes and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or a related field or 2 years of work experience in a child welfare or social services field
  • 2 years of work experience in a child welfare or social services field (if no bachelor's degree)
