Extrusion Operator - Weekend

About This Role

Operate and maintain extrusion equipment to manufacture fiber network cables in a clean and safe manner, fulfilling production needs on weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely sets-up, takes-apart, operates, and maintains cleanliness of any assigned piece(s) of equipment
• Understand all shop floor documents necessary to operate the equipment and manufacture the product
• Maintain and complete all required documentation in the manufacturing of the product
• Perform all required quality control checks and inspections on assigned product lines
• Assist in other areas of the cable manufacturing operations as needed

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents in English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to operate a computer
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work in a team environment and as an individual contributor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Nice to Have

• Previous manufacturing facility experience
• Previous machine operator position experience
