Experienced Caregiver (HHA/PCA)

About This Role

Provide personalized, one-on-one in-home care for aging seniors, supporting clients with Alzheimer's, Dementia, and other cognitive impairments. Assist with daily living activities to ensure their safety and comfort at home.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive and behavioral support, including gentle reminders, redirection, and structure to reduce confusion and anxiety
• Assist with personal care such as dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals with respect and patience
• Help maintain home safety and cleanliness, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Provide transportation for clients to appointments, errands, and grocery shopping
• Offer companionship through conversation, music, memory games, or sensory activities

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid NY Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certification
• Valid driver’s license, with access to reliable transportation
• TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray
• Comply with state background screening requirements
• Eligible to work in the US

Qualifications
