Executive Operations Support - Japanese Bilingual

About This Role

This role will support executive leadership and bridge U.S. operations with Japan headquarters for a Japanese restaurant. It involves providing high-level executive and operational support to the Vice President, acting as a key liaison across borders.

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation for executive meetings, business discussions, and on-site visits involving the Vice President
• Serve as the primary liaison with Japan headquarters, translating Japanese/English business and operational communications
• Ensure accurate, culturally appropriate, and confidential handling of all translated and executive materials
• Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Vice President
• Prepare presentations, reports, agendas, minutes, and executive summaries for internal and cross-border meetings
• Coordinate projects, track action items, and act as a liaison between the Vice President and internal stakeholders
• Identify store-level operational challenges and support project management efforts to drive effective solutions
• Create, translate, and localize store manuals, SOPs, and operational guidelines
• Support system rollouts and conduct on-site store visits to ensure smooth implementation and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Japanese language skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in restaurant operations, hospitality, or related operational environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant operations, hospitality, or a related operational environment
