Lead the day-to-day operations and assure compliance for an assisted living community. Oversee property management, employee partner administration, and resident services, promoting the company's mission and philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Assure implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care
- Supervise and assist in provision of all Resident services
- Conduct assessments, negotiate service plans, develop service schedules, and update service information
- Recruit, interview, hire, supervise, evaluate, and discipline community Employee Partners
- Supervise and assist in orientation and training of community Employee Partners
- Develops and implements sales/marketing plans to accomplish occupancy targets
- Develop and maintain a favorable public image; participate in community organizations
- Coordinate community, Resident units, common areas, and adjacent grounds with Maintenance Director
- Operate with provided resources, assure income and expenses are controlled using annual budget projections
- Administrate, coordinate, and direct all activities in accordance with policies and procedures
Requirements
- Effective supervisory skills
- Ability to communicate and work with all levels of the company’s Employee Partners effectively
- Ability to recognize and communicate problems appropriately
- Ability to relate to the public, Residents, families, Employee Partners, and other professionals appropriately
- Ability to maintain accurate records and provide information
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English, verbally and in writing
- Ability to work flexible hours and be on call
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Maintains car in good working order, current driver’s license in good standing and auto insurance
- CPR certified
- Ability to teach/train others effectively
- High school diploma
Qualifications
- High school diploma required. College credits or degree preferred
- 1 year of supervisory experience required. Experience in managing a program or community for older adults preferred.
