Event Operations Assistant

About This Role

This role will support the planning, organization, and execution of soccer and non-soccer events across three venues for Crew Events, focusing on credential management, event coordination, and effective communication to ensure memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Credential Management process on event days, including printing, organizing, and laminating credentials for Match Operations
• Read and interpret event orders, task lists, and venue software to approve, print, and archive credentials efficiently
• Distribute credentials through the Will Call Office with exemplary organization and communication
• Organize and manage a variety of events, including soccer and non-soccer events, at three venues
• Utilize SharePoint, calendar management systems, and other planning software to plan events
• Create and distribute essential event documents such as run of show, event briefs, and budgeting sheets
• Manage smaller scale events ranging from soccer matches to corporate meetings
• Prioritize and be available for 1st team Crew matches and MLS NextPro as needed
• Work in collaboration with all branches of the operations team and other departments
• Communicate effectively with guests to create positive and memorable experiences
• Oversee the execution of small scale events as the event lead
• Represent the Crew and MLS professionally in all interactions

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience coordinating events in a stadium or arena
• Detailed oriented and highly organized
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in high-stress, live event situations
• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and non-traditional hours
