Entry-Level Machinist

About This Role

Setup and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, including saws, threading machines, and hot/cold heading machines, within a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Learn machine operation and capabilities of multiple machines
• Run multiple pieces of equipment at the same time
• Perform accurate inspections on product
• Provide assistance to other employees when needed

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in machining or a related field
