English Classroom Teacher

About This Role

This role is for an English Classroom Teacher at Clovis South High School, responsible for teaching English to students, contributing to their development, and maintaining a suitable learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Seek to reach District standards in designated curricular areas for all pupils
• Perform co-curricular and/or adjunct duties as assigned by the Governing Board, Superintendent, and other designated persons
• Maintain proper disciplinary control of directly assigned pupils and all pupils in the Clovis Unified School District
• Enforce all rules governing the conduct of pupils as prescribed by the Education Code, Title 5, The Governing Board, and District/school administrators
• Provide a suitable learning environment for the academic and social development of all students

Requirements

• Appropriate California public school teaching credential
• Current CUSD teacher to apply for transfer
