Maximize sales of designed engineered solutions and calculation services by identifying target applications, creating solutions, and managing the bid process from pre-design to final delivery. Act as a key technical resource for customers and internal teams, ensuring successful project execution and expanding Hilti's market presence.
Responsibilities
- Scan project databases to identify and prioritize attractive target projects based on multiple criteria including key applications and competitive market situations
- Specify creation of engineered solutions for overhead grid, raised floor, pipe/cable tray supports, seismic bracing solutions, and E&I stands
- Provide practical checks on engineered solutions related to project environment, application, and market competitiveness, applying technical expertise as needed
- Support the delivery of engineering designs for BIM services and attend project coordination meetings to assist with client technical questions
- Build relationships with bidding contractors by creating and participating in bid packages during pre-design and design phases
- Sell low bidder (winner) on engineered solution's value add, overcome objections, close, and support with submittal for inclusion in project design
- Cross-sell other related Hilti products and coach Account Managers to improve competence in key project types, applications, and products
- Work directly with PMO to collect information and relay questions/change requests between PMO and customer, supporting interface with 3rd party engineering partners
- Track and investigate successes/failures, providing regular ROI assessment and product management feedback
- Oversee and review Bill of Materials (BOM) and final order fulfillment
- Provide competent recommendations and educational seminars to engineers, architects, and other designers on specific applications and Hilti solutions
- Utilize Hilti technology resources to maintain accurate records of contacts and specifications and manage jobsites within CRM system (SFDC)
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil/ Structural Engineering or 5+ years Hilti experience designing installation systems in the United States or Canada
- Proven success with selling value added and/or engineered solutions to contractors/end users
- Familiarity with project plans, specifications and commercial terms
- Good communication and project management skills

Nice to Have
- Professional engineering license (civil or structural)
- Familiarity with US and/or Canadian steel design
