About This Role

This role involves providing direct clinical supervision and classroom teaching to predoctoral students and GPR residents, advancing oral health through education, research, service, and collaboration within the University of Utah School of Dentistry.

Responsibilities

Direct clinical supervision of predoctoral students of all levels
Provide clinical training within the School of Dentistry and its satellite community health clinics
Deliver classroom and simulation clinic teaching to predoctoral students
Oversee endodontic education and clinical procedures for GPR Residents at UUSOD University Health and Greenwood clinics
Engage in scholarly activities
Provide service to the university and community
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in restorative, prosthetic, periodontics, oral surgery, and oral diagnosis sections

Requirements

DDS or DMD degree
Graduations from a CODA accredited dental school
Certificate or master's degree in endodontics from a CODA accredited endodontic program
Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Endodontics
Eligible for a Utah dental license
