This role involves performing emergency medicine physician duties to a diverse patient population within an academic medical center. The physician will provide life-saving treatment and contribute to high-quality medical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform emergency medicine physician duties to a mixed patient population
- Assess and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of medical care provided
- Ensure services are appropriate for meeting patient medical, social, and emotional needs
- Develop goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Apply leadership techniques
- Make effective decisions under stress and emergency circumstances
- Develop care plans
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- Three (3) years of experience in emergency medical care
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Valid License by State of Nevada to practice medicine
- State of Nevada Pharmacy Board License to Prescribe Medications
- DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- Three (3) years of experience in emergency medical care
