About This Role

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will join Jacob's Life Sciences team to contribute to the design, engineering, and construction of state-of-the-art facilities. You will provide design services, coordinate with other trades, and progress from basic design assignments to more complex projects under professional guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide design services including coordinating with the design of other trades (architectural and engineering)
  • Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of assigned work
  • Progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working with a technical team

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a degree seeking program for Electrical Engineering
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a degree seeking program for Electrical Engineering
  • Previous internship experience working in a corporate engineering environment is a plus

Nice to Have

  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Basic knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, basic rendering and publishing programs
  • Previous internship experience working in a corporate engineering environment
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate or on track to obtain
