The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of electrical systems and components for various projects, joining a growing company focused on retail, commercial, and EV charging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Generate construction documents using AutoCAD, including electrical site plans, single line diagrams, and detailing
- Prepare and procure all appropriate permits for building and construction in relevant jurisdictions
- Review contractor product shop drawings and respond to requests for information
- Conduct field investigations for accurate design implementation and product quality assurance during construction
- Prepare project close out and as-built documentation
- Research and develop methods and product types to enhance the project delivery model
- Develop company engineering standards of design
- Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations
Requirements
- Minimum BS in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email)
- Skilled in BIM and Autodesk products, particularly AutoCAD
- Ability to utilize Adobe Acrobat software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional time management, accountability, and prioritization skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals
- Ability to be organized, problem solve, and be solution oriented
- Ability to support a fast paced, demanding work schedule
Qualifications
- BS in electrical engineering
- 4 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer (preferred)
