Electrical Engineer

About This Role

This Electrical Engineer role involves full ownership of electrical, controls, automation, and manufacturing-related design for multi-million dollar projects in the Industrial Corrosion Control Industry. The engineer will design power distribution and heavy-load electrical systems, along with controls and automation platforms for facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design medium-voltage incoming tie-ins through low-voltage distribution systems across entire facilities, including heavy-load feeders and large-facility electrical layouts.
• Specify and design electrical, controls, and automation systems for industrial blasting and coating facilities.
• Produce schematics, panel layouts, and detailed electrical documentation using AutoCAD.
• Prepare scopes of work for external engineering subconsultants and manage associated budgets, schedules, and deliverable scopes.
• Ensure all electrical and control system designs comply with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Subject Matter Experts to integrate electrical systems into the overall facility design.
• Support procurement activities and vendor coordination to verify that components meet all standards, specifications, and project requirements.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at project sites.

• Familiarity with main feeders
• SCADA systems knowledge
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and Electrical Codes
• Project Engineering experience

• Experience with Procore
• Experience using EasyPower, ETAP, SKM, PSS, or other modeling software
