About This Role

This Electrical Engineer will support commercial, industrial, and institutional projects for a growing MEP engineering firm, focusing on MEP design and ensuring compliance with industry codes.

Responsibilities

Design power distribution, lighting/controls, and fire alarm systems
Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and creating single-line diagrams
Produce construction documents, specs, and technical reports
Ensure compliance with NEC, IBC, and local codes
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary MEP teams
Support construction administration (RFIs, submittals, shop drawings)

Requirements

BS EE required
4+ years in electrical MEP design
EIT required
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering
4+ years in electrical MEP design

Nice to Have

PE a plus
Experience with critical infrastructure projects (Hospitals, EOCs, Data Centers, Network Operations Centers, Critical Commercial Infrastructure)
