Electrical Engineer

About This Role

The Electrical Engineer will use their expertise in manufacturing process networks and machine control systems to deploy process improvements, integrate new capital equipment, and execute standardization initiatives within the business.

Responsibilities

• Deploy process improvements using manufacturing process networks and machine control systems
• Integrate new capital equipment
• Execute standardization initiatives within the business
• Travel up to 30% to provide support to Steele, Alabama, and Loudon, Tennessee

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment, process control, and engineering
• Significant knowledge of process control equipment
• Significant knowledge of flow measurement
• Significant knowledge of power distribution
• Programming and application knowledge in Allen Bradley PLCs (RSlogix500 and Studio5000)
• HMI platform knowledge and programming capability (Redlion, and Ignition preferred. Will consider other platforms such as RSView, Wonderware, Panel View)
• AC Variable Frequency Drives programming and application experience
• Programming experience in SQL, Python, C+, or Visual Basic
• Knowledge of low-voltage power distribution through 480VAC
• Experience with Industrial Ethernet Networks

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technical degree, or other related degree/experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment, process control, and engineering

Nice to Have

• AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical Experience preferred
