Electrical Engineer

About This Role

Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits for automotive applications. Execute complete automotive hardware development activities while ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 functional safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits for automotive applications
• Execute complete automotive hardware development activities in alignment with industry standards and internal processes
• Perform hardware safety analyses including Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA), Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
• Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 Functional Safety requirements throughout the hardware development lifecycle
• Utilize engineering and analysis tools such as Mathcad, Ansys Medini, and other relevant software tools
• Collaborate closely with hardware, systems, and cross-functional teams through continuous and effective communication

Requirements

• Knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety requirements
• Experience with worst case circuit analysis (WCCA)
• Experience with Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
• Experience with Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA)
• Experience with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
