Electrical Engineer

About This Role

Apply electrical engineering principles and education to develop, implement, verify, and complete technical project solutions. Assist maintenance personnel and other DOD personnel in solving complex electrical power conversion systems and equipment problems.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical engineering principles and education in developing, implementing, verifying, and completing solutions to technical projects
• Assist maintenance personnel, contractors and other DOD personnel in solving complex and unique electrical power conversion systems and equipment problems
• Work with teams to accomplish organizational objectives

Requirements

• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a professional engineering degree or equivalent
• At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level, or a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, or one year of graduate-level education directly related to the position.

• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination
