Electrical BIM Manager

About This Role

This Electrical BIM Manager will join an engineering team to support electrical design and construction coordination for complex engineering and architectural projects. The role involves leading BIM workflows and ensuring accurate electrical modeling and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Electrical BIM execution across engineering and construction projects
• Develop, maintain, and coordinate Revit MEP and AutoCAD 2D/3D models
• Support electrical design documentation, coordination, and clash detection efforts
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure BIM accuracy and alignment
• Manage multiple tasks and deliverables while meeting project deadlines
• Adapt to changing project priorities in fast-paced environments
• Support and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and best practices
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, consultants, and leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with an architecture/engineering consulting firm or contractor
• Strong understanding of the electrical construction business
• Hands-on proficiency with Revit Architecture/MEP (2010+)
• Hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD 2D/3D
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and effective in collaborative team environments
• Ability to work under pressure and interact professionally with all levels of staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with an architecture/engineering consulting firm or contractor

Nice to Have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience with Oracle or other enterprise systems
