The Elections Clerk performs routine clerical work to support County election practices by processing information relevant to County elections and voter registration. This seasonal, extra-help position is utilized by the Registrar of Voters' office.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine clerical work in support of County election practices
- Receive and process information relevant to County elections and voter registration
- Apply general knowledge regarding elections and voter registration
- Answer procedural questions and give out factual information to the public, in person and on the telephone
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to learn specific knowledge related to the Registrar of Voters’ office
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Three (3) months full-time work experience performing clerical tasks that demonstrates possession of and competency in the requisite knowledge and abilities.
