Early Intervention Speech Therapist

About This Role

Provide Early Intervention Speech Language Pathology services to children aged 0-3 in their natural environment within Cumberland County, PA. This role involves individual therapy sessions, family collaboration, and detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Language Pathologist sessions using current best practices based on the child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP)
• Work with families/caregivers in the child’s natural environment and throughout the community, supporting daily routines
• Collaborate with other professionals supporting the child/family to aid in the achievement of outlined goals
• Maintain all required documentation of service delivery, including session notes, quarterly progress summaries, and annual IFSP input

Requirements

• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP)
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications
