Dishwasher

About This Role

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas of a restaurant. This role involves dishwashing, pot washing, general cleaning, and proper storage and rotation of food supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform various kitchen cleaning and storage activities
• Dish wash and pot wash
• Handle general and equipment cleaning
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Perform janitorial duties in dining services areas including Dining Room and Bistro
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
