Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, and for janitorial duties in dining service areas. This role ensures all food handling, storage, and cleaning comply with sanitary procedures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Conduct general and equipment cleaning
• Manage storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Perform janitorial duties in dining areas like the Dining Room and Bistro
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ year of experience in fine dining hospitality or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
