Dishwasher

About This Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards. They will also handle janitorial duties in dining areas and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Perform dishwashing and pot washing activities
• Clean general kitchen areas and equipment
• Store and rotate food and supplies
• Fulfill janitorial duties in dining areas such as the Dining Room and Bistro
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
